It is quite amazing to know
that Chichi Mbagwu was born in Enugu state but left the country when she
was just 7 months old and coincidentally returned to the state almost
20 years later to be crowned as Face Of Unity Nigeria Queen. In all
holiness, the Imo state born, who studies at the University of Brighton
United Kingdom has so far exhibited the strength of an African Queen and
have shown how unique she is amongst many.
With several calls by family and friends to try out active modeling in UK, she decided to start up in her mother land - Nigeria with an attempt in pageantry. She surfed through the internet to find pageants in Nigeria and Face Of Unity Nigeria popped up...Today the rest is history!
Chichi Mbagwu, a die-hard fan of the famous American female singer - Beyonce, has appeared in most her concerts in Europe with Beyonce singing directly to her in one of her shows in UK. Its also on record that Chichi Mbagwu featured on the celebrity's blog in a birthday video packaged by selected fans of the musical icon.
In one of her interviews she said this about the female artist “ Beyonce is my role model because she is a lady with a strong character and uses her music to influence so many people positively.”. She further stressed that her mother, Mrs Ndidi Mbagwu has been instrumental to her success and indeed a strong pillar in her life.
The Face Of Unity Nigeria Queens led by Chichi Mbagwu recently launched their pet- projects in Abuja - Nigeria with the “Unity As Central Essence Of Nation Beauty” & “Environmental Safety Campaign”.
