It was indeed a sight to behold at Median edition of Nigeria's 1st  centenary contest - Face Of Unity Nigeria pageant held recently in the Enugu state one of the eastern states of Nigeria.

The event which witnessed high status guests from various fields of endeavour in Nigeria with an all glamorous affairs on the red carpet left memories of young, beautiful contestants numbering about 28, who took up the stage to slog it out for the coveted crown.

There is no better way to describe the ambiance of the colourful event especially the crowning of the 20 year old Chichi Mbagwu, undergraduate of University Of Brighton, United Kingdom as the Face of Nigeria's Unity which puts on her the responsibility to preach patronism that can exorcise the jinx of disunity.

According to the Imo state born British Nigerian, while responding to questions from the media on her victory " I am humbled by the victory and the overwhelming support received from friends and fans. I worked hard  to get to this height. I have craved for a platform to serve and preach unity among Nigerians....I thank my family and friends who supported and stood by me"

She further added, " I see a crown as an endorsement for a difference  and a key to unlimited opportunities to make impact in one's generation"

The pageant which is organised by GLees MEDIA LTD, partnered by MTN Nigeria- Enugu and supported by BBSHOW NETWORK Africa indeed played host to top personalities in and outside the state.
            
It was an obvious titanic battle of beauties on the stage of destiny as the contest paraded some of the most beautiful young ladies that really defines beauty in any part of the world.
